A location for a film is very important if you don't have a location you have nowhere to shoot! Here are some basic tips and known facts about finding a location for filming!

Writers and Directors have a vision when they write or read a script on the location they would like to shoot. This takes time to map out and all these creative ideas are given to the location director to find a place where a directors vision can become reality!
2. Location are always subject to change! The film industry is a forever changing medium it requires some light on their feet and flexible to change. Locations are one of the many things that are forever changing on a film set. Due to budget, availability, and deadlines a location can change even on the day before filming!
3. Directors and DP's always scout the location- Angles, space, blocking all this goes into picking the right location. To see if the space can work to the director's and DP's vision and technical means. Overall to see if the location fits with the overall vision for the film.
